Dear Friends,
This years Police Unity Tour is 19th to 21st August, both Daniel and I feel incredibly privileged to be involved once more, Daniel will be riding and I part of the support team.
In all, nearly 200 miles are cycled on its circuitous route and over the course of the tour the group increases in size as chapters from across the county converge. It is an absolutely amazing sight! The tour ends at the National Memorial Arboretum to attend the Care of Police Survivors Annual Remembrance Service on the Sunday morning – an emotional and humbling service to remember all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice carrying out their duties
The event raises funds for Care of Police Survivors is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives whilst on duty. They aim to ensure that survivors have all the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and that they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives.
