Covid-19 Latest

UPDATED 19 DEC 2021

Sadly we have had to take the decision to cancel the Town Carol Service at 6pm on 19th December but you can watch last year’s Carol Service on YouTube.

The Crib Service at 6pm on Christmas Eve is also cancelled and there will not be a Midnight Service either this year.

The PCC have decided to follow Bishop Martin’s suggestion that we WILL NOT meet for a Sunday Morning Service on Boxing Day however we are still planning to have a Communion Service on Christmas Day at 10am.

We remain open for worship there will be a service in Church each Sunday at 10am with communion on the 4th Sunday of each month.

We still want you to feel safe as you come and worship with us; the Clergy, Readers, Preachers and Church Wardens will review the situation each week. We are aware that some people remain anxious about meeting together indoors – please bring a facemask and use it if asked to do so for the benefit of others.

During worship the Church building will be formatted into 2 zones :

‘Socially distanced’ – There will be all the previous restrictions in place for those who sit on the right-hand side of church.

‘Less restrictions’ –
There will be less restrictions and more choices in place for those who sit on the left-hand side of church. You may still wish to wear a mask if you choose and you are requested to do so when singing.

Services will continue to be live streamed on YouTube and available for replay for around 4 weeks. We can also make a DVD of the service for you to watch at home, please call the vicarage if you would like a DVD.
