Site help
This website should be fully compatible with the latest versions of all leading browsers, for Microsoft Windows.
Mac OS, or Linux have not been tested, but should also work.
Some earlier versions of browsers will also work, but for the best possible experience, it is worth installing the latest version of your chosen browser.
The following browsers have been tested:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer 6+ is the latest version for PCs,
IE 5+ should also work, though IE 5.5 is better than IE 5.0.
(Microsoft no longer supports IE 5.0, so please upgrade if you can.)
Netscape Navigator
The latest versions of Netscape (7+) will be fine. Netscape 7+ is much better than Netscape 6+
Earlier versions of Netscape (eg version 4) are not supported;
Mozilla
Any version of Mozilla (1.1+) should work fine
Firefox (formerly Firebird)
Firebird is a stripped-down version of Mozilla
Checking your browser version
To find out which browser version you are using, go to the Help menu at the top of your browser window, and choose About [name of browser]. This will open a window showing your browser details.
